The fourth edition of Euskadi Basque Country Flag will start in Sevilla
The next 19th of june the Guadalquivir river is going to be the place where will start the figh for the CaixaBank Crown
The next 19th of june will start the 14th edition of San Miguel League in Sevilla. This journey is possible by the according of the Basque Goverment and the ACT. The aim of this according is to promote Euskadi as a good turistic plce by the rowing boats. The next three years, the Euskadi Basque Country Flag started in Malaga and Barcelona and the athlets and the fans enjoyied so much with the show.
The Guadalquivir river is going to be the place where the 12 rowing boats will start rowing and fighting for the CaixaBank Crown. The last winners of this flag are Urdaibai Alvia in 2013, Orio Babyauto in 2014 and NT2 Hondarribia in 2015.
This weird starts of the season will have the start line and finish line buoys are going to be situated in La Cartuja bridgefoot close of Triana, on contrary, the exterior buoys are goign to be ubicated in La Barqueta bridge. One of the peculiar thing of this reaggata is going to be the competition form. There are going to be 12 rowing boats divided in 3 rounds. On each rounds, four rowing boats will compete on two by two race against the clocks. As is habitual, they are going to row three nautic miles divided in four longs with three maneouvres.
Pedro Andueza, the chairman of the ACT, is happy with the new step that the Associaton has obtained. In addition, he wants to explain gratitude to the Basque Goverment for the confidence that they put year by year in the Association. At least, the official calendar of the 2016 San Miguel League will subject to votation the next Assembly of the ACT.
