"The objective is enjoy with the San Miguel League"
The coach of the galizian team, Gustavo Vázquez, explains about the preseason and the objective of enjoy the hole season
After the sixth position of the past year, the rowing boat of Cabo will try get better sensations and they will try to enjoy with the San Miguel League. The fight for the CaixaBank Crown is going to be hard, but Cabo wants improve on the regattas and fight with the bests.
The winter for the team was "hard and long", but the coach of Cabo, Gustavo Vazquez, explains that "this is the eighth season as a Cabo's coach and is the winter that more I enjoyed with the team". He is very happy with the team because "everybody work in same way, the veterans and the youngest rowers".
As every year, "the team had sufferd changes, but the rowing boat is going as same as the last year, even so, the trainer wants "enjoy with the competition and the row". Gustavo Vazquez thinks that is going to be very equal season where "San Juan Iberdrola, Orio Babyauto, Zierbena Bahías de Bizkaia, Tirán Pereira and Astillero are going to be strong rowing teams", but in Gustavo Vazquez opinion, "we have to aspire to the top as a team".
Gustavo Vazquez and his team like Sevilla as first destination of the San Miguel League and what they want are "arrive in best condition to the 19th of june and enjoy on a very demanding reagatta".
The road is long and the fight for the CaixaBank Crown is going to be very equal and Cabo´s team wants participate on this equal fight.
